Dr. Jack L. Berg, MD

Prior to joining Family Medical Center in 2003, Dr. Berg served as a family physician and flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force, He held various positions there, including Chief of Hospital Services, Chief of Aeromedical Services, Operations Squadron Commander, and Med Group Commander. His career path also included service in the U.S. Navy as a rescue pilot and time spent as a research materials engineer in the plastics industry. Dr. Berg welcomes patients age 12 and older and treats chronic and acute health problems. He maintains an open schedule, which means he can offer appointments on short notice, including same-day appointments when space is available. In addition to being a physician, Dr. Berg enjoys jogging, skiing, and supporting the arts. He is a fan of the local symphony, chamber groups, and opera, and he sings in his church choir. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, Louisiana State Medical Society, and the Northwest Louisiana Medical Society.
